I am trying to mirror text. Specifically, turning an "S" into a backwards S. When selecting the character, 8 nodes appear at the 4 corners: 4 inner and 4 outer nodes to be exact. If you click & hold one of the outer/square nodes, you can drag it horizontally, creating a mirror image of the character. However, once you release the node the character returns to normal. How do you get around this and create a mirror image? It is obvious that the function resides within the software code, but I am unable to find the command to do so.

To mirror text:
1.select your text
2.right click on it and select ‘Create Symbol from Selection’
3.right click again and select Flip > Flip Horizontal
4.once you mirrored your text, delete the symbol you created in step 2 form Symbol Libraries > Custom Symbols
Hope this helps.
