I am considering Freestyle.
Will Freestyle open my AutoSketch files? If not directly, what is the best way to do so. I still have access to AutoSketch and my skf files.

AutoCAD Freestyle does not open SKF files. You could export them as DWGs from AutoSketch and then open them in Freestyle, but you will not be able to edit them - you'll only be able to use them as reference.
