Hi,
I have some RText in a drawing that does not reload when the drawing is
reopened. The RText does update as soon as I select RText from the express
menu. Is there a way to get AutoCAD R2000i to load the object enables
automatically when a drawing is opened with RText or Wipeout entities?
A google search of the newsgroups sent me to a FAQ site that suggested:
Q: Why is AutoCAD unable to find an object enabler for WIPEOUT or
RTEXT when I open a drawing?
-------------------------------------------------- ---------------------
A: Reinstall the express tools to update the registry so AutoCAD can find
the appropriate ARX files to load when it encounters a WIPEOUT or RTEXT
object. See Knowledge Base articles TS43616
(http://support.autodesk.com/getdoc.asp?id=TS43616 ), TS64921
(http://support.autodesk.com/getdoc.asp?id=TS64921 ) and TS59037
(http://support.autodesk.com/getdoc.asp?id=TS59037 ) for more information.
But none of these helped.
The same used to happen with wipeout but I found an object enabler on the
web (Autodesk document ID: DL101173) and that seems to work with wipeout but
not RText.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Regards.
