The MOCORO command will be extremely useful for me except for one problem. When I pick the basepoint that I want, a point way out in space is actually picked for my basepoint, rendering the command virtually useless. Any ideas why this might be happening?

If you have PERPENDICULAR osnap turned on, it seem to find the apparent
perpendicular point, often nowhere near the cursor or the object.
