Can anyone help us, we have Autocad 2006 full version,
and we use the layer manager very badly in our projects.
When we buy the Autocad 2011 full version, the layer
manager is not included in this edition and it was replace
by autocad layer state. Is there a way that the layer manager
can be use in Autocad 2011.

LAYER command is a new Palette form, it can stay on all the time and you can use it whether you are in a command or not. It is the new Layer Manager
CLASSICLAYER is the old pop-up style for LAYER command which you can still use, looks like R2006's LAYER command, the old layer manager style.
LAYERSTATE is totally different command and have nothing to do with the functionality of the LAYER command, it's about turning layers on/off based on presets you create.
