When I first saw postings about this feature, I wanted to try it out but was unable to locate it. I found an article on
Autodesk's site that suggested that it was only availiable on release 2000i or greater (I am using 2000).
http://support.autodesk.com/knowledgebase/html/337 252.htm
I recently saw a discussion in the 2000general group that said DCPROPS is part of Express Tools. When I posted this
question to that discussion, the only reply I received was from the Assistant Moderater:
"Quoting Kent Elrod's message from this very thread:
(DCPROPS is available if you have Express Tools)"
I was using the Express Tools version that came on the 2000 CD, but I was unable to find DCPROPS on the menu. I tried
typing DBLCLKEDIT, (dblclkedit), DCPROPS and (dcprops) on the command line with no results.
I just downloaded Volume 6 of Express Tools from the web. It had a file date of 11/16/99. While it had several
enhancements over the CD version, I still am unable to find any info on DCPROPS.
If this is not a feature of Acad2000 or I need a later volume Express Tools, I will be content with that answer, but I
am just looking for an answer.
thanks in advance,
Aloonie
