I have noticed that in some of the plc dat files, there is a /u parameter. It is not in all of them, I have noticed it in 1769 and 1747 Allen Bradley dat files. However, it is not in 1746, 1756, or 1761. These are the only files that I have looked at.
It seems that the /u parameter is just a sequential field in the file. The first entry u=1, the second, u=2 etc... Does anyone know what this is for? Is it needed?
Thank you,

There really is no need for those lines. I would suggest just leaving
them as is and not to even worry about them.
