    multi-conductor cable & device wiring

I have an Omron RFID unit that uses a 50pin Honda connector for digital i/o.
I have not come up with a good way of drawing this type of device in AcadE
    yet.

I would like people to post ideas of how they have done similar schematics
or how they think they would do it so I can get some other ideas to make the
    drawings flow better.

Currently, I only draw the power going to the Omron RFID controller. Then,
on my plc page, I have the input coming from line and page number that the
RFID controller is wired on, and same for the outputs. This works, but does
not use any of the "power" included in AcadE.

Please let me know your ways or suggestions for doing this.

    Thank you,

    Keith

I have similar problems trying to handle cables
on my drawings. We are using rung/sheet to number
our components & wires. I either "fake" the cable
run by either creating a wire on a CABLE layer
(if my drawing never shows the cable conductors)
or I use a stand-alone cross reference, probably
similar to what you do to show the where the
cable is coming from on the plc pages.
I would love a better way of doing this. I don't
think my way is going to be able to generate
a good cable to from for the wiring people.
