Hi,

is there a way by insert a componet to have component tag fixed ON as default (not OFF)

is problem not to forget by any insert to set fixed to ON (need by use old projects)

Hi Elprim,

not sure if its possible to set ACADE to insert component tags fixed as default. A work around would be using the project wide utilities where you can fix and unfix all parent tags project wide (see attached image).

Go to your Project Properties and select the Drawing Format tab.

Now click on the button to define the layers (bottom right hand corner above the Cancel & Help buttons).

Look for the box marked Components Tags. The layer there should read TAGS. Change it to read TAGFIXED (Same as the Fixed Tags).

Now click OK and OK again to exit out of the Properties. Apply the project properties to all your dwgs.

When you change a TAG to fixed, all ACADE does is to move it to the TAGFIXED layer. By putting the tag there in the first place, you are essentially inserting the tag as fixed to begin with.

In component block change attribute TAG1 to TAG1F.

Take care  if you have old definition of the block in your drawing you have to purge it or use

Schematic tab -> Edit Components panel -> Swap/Update Block command to update to new definition.
