What is the correct position of the symbols of receptacles on walls?See attached drawing.
There is a rule about this?In some Latin American countries, the placement of the receptacles is like option 1, as shown.
When I worked for an electrical contractor, we always orientated our receptacles toward the wall, such as your option 2.
