Hello
In the IECDEMO drawing 005.dwg there is a parent/sibling relationship on a set of terminals. See attached picture.
I can't find this option in the Terminals dialog.
How do I do this?
Thanks
Kristian

I took a look at this drawing, and I can't really give you the reason
why, but on terminals 505 and 506 the TAGSTRIP and LOC attributes are hidden
which in this scenario almost give the impression of the parent/sibling
relationship, but it is really just a case of hidden information possibly to
keep the drawing less congested. The terminals don't have a parent/child
relationship like the coils and contacts do, they use the TAGSTIP and
INST/LOC codes to create the "strip" relationship between the individual
terminals.

Hi Jared
Thanks for the reply.
Is there a quick way to hide attributes in that fashion? Maybe a Vanilla AutoCAD command?
Thanks

You can click on the Edit Attribute command. Select the geometry of a component (not text) and a dialog box will come up that allows you to select which attributes should be visible. For changing a group of components all at once use the Hide/Unhide Multiple command. See the attached photo which shows how to get to this command.

Thanks Doug, that did the trick.
Maybe a option to hide the Tag-ID on terminals is something to put on the wish list for a future release of Electrical?

You can already hide the Strip-ID on terminals, or not hide them, using the tools I mentioned above.

Hi Doug
I am thinking of integrating this into the Terminals dialog.
