    Import from spreadsheet issue

    All,

I am trying to import an updated component spreadsheet into my project. Om the Update drawings per Spreadsheet Data box I select Project and click OK. Nothing happens,it grays out the ribbon options, but the command bar doesn't start processing anything and I ultimately hit ESC to cancel everything.

Now when, I select Active Drawing it works and will make changes. Any thoughts as to why it is doing this? I used to run it for the project everytime, but it has just recently began locking up.

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your “select drawings” dialog is opening off screen. Try typing these keystrokes in order… Alt, down arrow, M, down arrow. Now move your mouse and the dialog should be stuck on your curser.

Now the trick is getting it to remember where you place it.
My 2012 AND 2013 keep opening off screen and I can't get it to remember where it should go. My Surfer opens off screen as well. I even tried a reinstall and it didn't fix it. Until I find the time I'm living with it. One day I'll find and post where these files or registry key are.
