I cannot read yellow component text on white background and must change background to see text. How can I change the component TAG1 and RATING1 text color to be legible on a white background?

Go to the home tab, in the layers pane you can either start the Layer properties or click the pull down list. Click the colured square for each layer you want to change colour and chose a better suited one. The two attributes you want to change colour on is located on the TAGS layer and MISC layer.
