i am wondering if there is a way to edit the way the default cat database shows items in the parts catalog. i want to be ablle to go to my panel layout, icon menu, insert footprint, red light, catalog lookup, and be able to only show the items that i want. My default is set to show AB 30.5mm lights. Is there a way to change this default?

In the catalog database, there is a table called _LISTBOX_DEF.

Edit this table to select the default items that appear when each different family table is opened.

Thank you for the quick response. I found the table and made the change. 

However, It is not showing up. I tried shutting down AE and also tried AEREBUILDDB. I checked the file path and i believe i changed the correct file. Is there a command that is suppose to update this change?

I typed in the new change in the parts catalog pop up and then the next time i opend it, it was corrected
