    BOM Reports

I have been having problems with the BOM report within WD 16.0a Standalone. No matter what I do, not all of the descriptions show up for all of the parts (as a matter of fact, almost NONE of them show up). The parts have descriptions in the drawing.

The BOM does not report the
descriptions assigned to the components in the drawings.  The BOM pulls out
descriptions from the catalog database if it finds a matching entry.  A
component report will get you the descriptions you are looking for as well as
the BOM data.  One of the major differences between the COMPONENT REPORT
and the BOM is that the COMPONENT REPORT will report all devices whether they
have BOM data assigned to them or not.  The BOM will only report the parent
devices that have BOM data assigned.

That's it! Thank you very much for the prompt reply. Sorry about the duplicate post, but I keep forgetting that hitting refresh to check for new posts re-posts my last one!
