    3D Footprints

Is it in the plans for Electrical to have the blocks for footprints be
    multi-view
blocks? This would make layouts and section views (for sub-panel to door
    mounted
equipment clearance checks and calcs) much cleaner.

    Phil,

ACADE ties in nicely to Allen-Bradley's free ABECAD software. The panel blocks come out as 3D components. I have also downloaded 3D blocks from other manufacturers and linked those in to the footprint look-up database. Works nice! If I need ISO views or such, I simply add viewports to my paperspace and run with it.

Along those lines, you could draw your items up in
3d and make blocks from them...
