What you ask is possible to do. The "FAQ" posting (August 05, 2005)
describes how to do it. Reproduced below along with a few related items.
Nate.
Q6.1.1) How can I permanently change the text height of wire numbers?
A) To do this:
1. Determine the schematic symbol library in use and open drawing
"wd_wnh.dwg" in AutoCAD.
2. Adjust the WIRENO attribute's text height to your liking.
3. Save
4. Open drawing "wd_wnv.dwg", "wd_wch.dwg" and "wd_wcv.dwg". Repeat steps
2 and 3 for each.
That's it. Wire numbers for new drawings will come in with the new text
height. (old dwgs require ERASE WNUM and PURGE).

Q6.1.2) How can I make wire numbers on vertical wires come in rotated 90
degrees?
A) You want wire numbers for vertical wires to come in automatically
rotated 90 degrees so that the wire number lays along the wire. To do:
1. Determine the schematic symbol library in use and open drawing
"wd_wnv.dwg" in AutoCAD.
2. Rotate the WIRENO attribute 90 degrees (you can use the AcadE "rotate
wire number" cmd if you'd like)
3. Save
4. Open drawing "wd_wcv.dwg". Repeat steps 2 and 3.
That's it. Wire numbers for new drawings will come in auto-rotated.

Q6.1.3) How can I have wire numbers come in BELOW the wire?
A) To do this:
1. Determine the schematic symbol library in use and open drawing
"wd_wnh.dwg" in AutoCAD.
2. Adjust the WIRENO attribute's text justification to Top Center.
3. Move the WIRENO attribute down below the 0,0 origin point (the 0,0 point
represents where the LINE wire will pass through this wire number block
insert).
4. Save
5. Open drawing "wd_wch.dwg". Repeat steps 2 and 3 and 4.
That's it. Wire numbers for horizontal LINE wires should now pop in below
the wire. (old dwgs require ERASE WNUM and PURGE).

Thank You, it worked, but I want this size as default size, how should I do
it, another thing I want to increase space between wire no. and wire.
(horizontally as well as vertically). Please send reply.
