terminal strips

I am using acad 2006, i did not find any help document to get info about parent/child relations.. i could not understand this..
also when i draw signal code to show contiunuity, if i change the position of the wire, signal code doesnot reflect the change.. pl help me out

Hi Sathy,

There are two types of cross-references, component cross reference and
signal cross reference.

For component cross reference, go to Help, and then click Electrical Help
Topics. Select Contents > Cross-References or you may click on search for
parent / child to proceed to the cross-references help page.

For signal cross reference, go to Electrical Help Topics and then click
Search for the topic "Wire signal and stand-alone cross-reference updates"
and other related topics.

If it doesn't update according to the change you made, click the arrow on
the Source/Destination Signals tool to access the Update Signal References
tool. From the wires menu, select Signal References > Update Signal
References.
