How to create a "Source Destination" link between two components/wires, each one in  different sheets, through AutoCAD Electrical API´s.

Wire, not on the component direct.

Right click wire.

Source on this page.

This code is important, if its the same wire in many sheets use the same code.

If its only between 2 sheets, never use this again or make a special 1 : 24vdc K12

On other sheet the destination, right click on wire, choose destination annd type the same code or click Recent.

OK a few times, update.

This is the end of the lesson 1 for S-D code. Smiley Indifferent

Hi Wheelie22,

Thanks for your post, but I need to do the same that you did but using API, because I want to write a Lisp code to automate this process. I need to process a lot of circuits, I have all the information about the circuits, I just need to create the link between source and destination components.

Regards

Michel

Most of the lisp files( LSP) are incripted (FAS) and most of the AcadE lisp functions are not / not good documented.

I would like at least 1 example for each AE lisp command, but.... Smiley Sad

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2010\Help\ACE_API_7_0.chm"

This is the help file for vAE 2010 with all commands and 2 examples.
