"DN" TABLE in default_cat

What is the purpose of the DN table?
There are no HDN or VDN symbols.

Confused,
David Brude

The DN table seems to be PLC modules. As the PLC blocks are custom built
using the parametric build function, there would be no blocks to match the
table name.
If your DN table is empty, you may not have installed the PLC manufacturer's
when you did the install.

Thanks for the reply.
My DN table is populated with 784 entries, mostly AB.
The parametric PLC modules reference the PLCIO table so why do we have a DN table if there are no HDN or VDN symbols. Could it be that the table exists for any standalone symbols you create from scratch?

The tables exist for the Catalogue Lookup function when you assign part
numbers. If you take a look at it, you will notice it has the Catalogue
number as well as the manufacturer. The should also be a _PINLIST_AB table
which is referenced by the program when assigning part numbers.
