Why do Pre plot Command script file and Post plot command script files are run before and after plotting, respectively. I suppose running these files is optional.
What are the commands in the default preplot.scr and postplot.scr files?
There aren't any default pre-/postplot.scr files supplied with AcadE.
There are several cases where you'd like to process the the drawings before and after the plot command.
Maybe you would like to have the text "PRELIMINARY" inserted diagonally across the drawing and insert the plot-date into the titlle block before it's sent to the printer?
And... after the plot is done... If' you'd like to SAVE the plotdate inserted into the titleblock, you'll have to delete the "PRELIMINARY" text first, before saving the drawing.
There are many more cases where you can use this functionality.
Thanks for the reply. But one more doubt;
If there are no default preplot and post plot command script files available, then, what does Preplot.scr and Postplot.scr mean(path of both these files is given in the edit boxes of the Optional for each Drawing area) which are mentioned in the Batch Plotting Options and Orders dialog box.
