block referance ha2dl_ref

I was trying to find more informartion & examples of where this s used, can not find anything in the electronic  help or her on the forum.

I'm using it to as a ref link betwen sheets to link a multicore cabel however the electrical audit is saying no connection

- which is correct since their is no connection

ha2dl_ref

Am I using the correct symbol? should I just ignore the report audit?

Steve

Well,

Assuming that you made the appropriate Fan in/Fan out ends on seperate drawings, they are just connected using standard Source/Destination codes.

Thanks,

all works well except:

the electrical audit sees a missing connection as thier is no electrical connection, is this normal?

I do not think the audit shouuld show you an error if this is done like described in the help. Here is a link to the ACE wiki on this subject. Did you follow these procedures when setting up your multi-conductor cable?

Hi

Yes exactly, the fan out works fine and is reliable, the audit is also correct, the solution is to add a terminal to the ref block

so the multicore has a terminal to connect to -  as expected. - fair enough

problem gone

Thanks

Steve

Yeah, sometimes you have to "trick" the software to do what you want to do.
