autocad electrical surfer "delete" button not there!

We have noticed that the surfer delete button is not presenting itself during surfing items that were created by the plc parametric build tool.

I have compared the attribs to an item the surfer will present the delete button for and there appears to be no correlation. Not even the wdblknam. (some are DN, some are DV, some are PLCIO and none of them will allow delete from surfer, the common thing to all is they were parametrically built).

If anyone knows why this happens, and how to fix it that would be useful.

Another oddity with this.

If I open the panel drawing, and "aeerasefootprint" then the surfer pops up and I can surf to and delete the items listed there.

But NOT if I start with the surfer tool!

Also if I use the surfer delete to delete the one half of a parametrically built PLC card that was split upon insert, but quit the surfer before I surf and delete the other half, the delete button is once again missing.
