PLEASE HELP! I'm trying to install AutoCAD 2013 (stand-alone version) on my corporate PC (WIndows 7, 64-bit OS), and when it gets to be almost done (I believe during the English language package) with the install, I get the following error messages: Cdb - Disk or network error, Cdb - No field defined--cannot append TableDef or Index. Any help from the experts out there is greatly appreciated.
I have here an attachment to show what the error messages look like.
Thanks!
I have this finding to report in case you're experiencing the same problems I had earlier:
If you install a new AutoCAD version make sure that the you install it locally.
AutoCAD Electrical 2013 wants to install 170 MB onto the Users/My Documents folder. I was having an issue installing the 'Typical Install' because it was filling my U:\ drive.
This will also speed AutoCAD performance since it will no longer need to navigate the network to open configuration files.
