X-Y Cross reference in dwt file are not working

Hello,

 

As per my requirement i have started creating the template in the dwg file the cross references are working and when i have converted the same dwg to dwt the invalid cross reference come up.

 

Please example me the cause to fix this issue.

It looks like your second drawing is following zone formatting. Keep in mind that although you created the .dwt, the settings (properties) can be changed once you use new from within the project. The drawing will take on the properties of the project if you allow it.

 

Check the properties of the both the Project and .dwg and look at the Format Referencing section. This will tell you if you are set up for X-Y Grid or X Zones.

I have just rechecked the drawing and project properties both have x-y grid.
