Wires

This must be an easy fix but I forgot how I fixed it before...well,  before when I click on a component and select insert wire, the wire automatically move as I move my cursor.

Lately, when I click on a component and select insert wire, I have to click again at the component before it moves.

How do you fix this?

Are you clickin on the component and then moving your mouse off before selecting "Insert Wire"?  I've played a bit with this, and it seems to work best if you select the object and leave your mouse near the connection point you want to pull from.  Of course, it's even easier to just grab the wire command from the ribbon menu and then pick where you want to start.  But that's just me.

Not sure what you mean exactly

But in my ACADE 2013 selecting an object first then selecting the insert wire command (AEWIRE) results in the object being unselected. - So you then have to pick an object again to draw a wire.

Its the same if you select an electric symbol first then try and use the edit component command (AEEDITCOMPONENT). The object you previously picked is unselected and you have to select a component again. There is no noun- verb command sequence just verb-noun command sequence unlike other regular AutoCad commands (which I find annoying) Perhaps it was different in old versions but I do not remember.

Does anyone else have some insight?

I went to my colleague computer and his is working great. It has to do with some settings, I think...I reboot and try but no luck.

Any guide will be greatly apprecaited.
