Updating Footprints Location code to Parent

I seem to be having an issue with synching my Footprints Location Code to the Parent Symbol.  i have tried erasing the projecting database .wdb and Project wide Rebuild DB but still nothing.  Any ideas?

All I could do was export to excel and then set all the locations.  Was fast and easy but I just was wondering if there was another way to force the sync

If you insert your footprints from the schematic list all fields transfer to the footprint. That's the easiest workflow. If the location codes must change afterwards the spreadsheet method is a good choice when changing a large number at once.
