Hi Ersidhu

I will try to help, I have been using ACE for about 18 months.

Your question seems ot indicate that you understand AutoCAD and use commands where I have used mostly used Icons.

In AutoCAD Electrical all commands are prefixed with AE.

I change line types and width etc in the layer tables.  It is the only way I know.  There may be a more elegant technique but I am not that educated.

Hope I am not telling you what you already know.

Cheers  john Quigley

The LTSCALE command can be typed at the command line as you mentioned.  The factor you set determines how coarse or fine the dashes appear.  This is a drawing-wide setting.  Once you are happy with the setting, you should set your template up the same way so all future drawings are preset with your desired line type scale.

Hint: This setting is most helpful to make sure dashed link lines between contacts and dash dot lines for location boxes appear clearly.
