Title Blocks

Is there some wya how i can design a title block in the project files so i can import a title block once rather then doing it on every drawing on its own.. and if i have to change text on the title block how can i do a batch change so it changes the text on every title block at once..
please help.. i have been researching this for a long time and have found nothing but got close.. i know theres a way

Taylor,

Refer to the help under the menu Projects -> Title block setup there are few
ways in which a title block can be setup.
If the text is one of the project description lines it can be updated on
all the drawings using Update title block utility.
2006: Right click on the active project and run Title block update.
2005: Menu -> Projects-> Projects New/Existing -> Update title block.

Tylor,

While each drawing needs to have a border and title block, there are a couple of ways you can avoid inserting them each time. The first way is to create a template (DWT) and use that when you start a new drawing. Or you can create a prototype project and include the basic drawings for what you do for each project. My company uses both these methods.

As for updating the text, in the project dialog box (ACE2005) you can edit then update any line of text in the title block for just the current drawing or project wide, or select those drawings you wish to change.
