Terminals and connectors are forcing wire number change

Hi All,

I am having a strange issue.

If I insert any terminal or connector the wire numbers change.

I have checked the block name and the 3rd character is in fact "0"

i have looked at project setting, drawing settings. Not sure what to try next.

I am using symbol HT0002 and symbol HC01JP

Are you sure your project is not set for wire numbering on a per wire basis?  See the attached image which shows a project that is set for wire numbering on a per-wire basis.  This setting over-rules the "0" portion of a symbol file name.  See the attached example of wire numbers forced to change across terminal blocks that normally do not force a wire number change.

Thank you sir! I am not new to autocad however its been 4 years since the last time I had to use electrical. I should have maybe read over the help file a little better on the set-up screen you referenced. I was at your site today and looked over some of your tutorials. A+
