Terminal Strip Editor Blank

Im using AE2013, and have a project with multiple terminal lists. I have problem with some of them in that they appear on the 'edit wire sequence' correctly, but when I go to Terminal Strip editor, the whole terminal rail is blank.  Only the terminal numbers are displayed. Although when I use AE2014 everything is fine. I don't want to bother you with my isssues with AE2014 right now.  Does anyone have any ideas.  I have tried deleting the Project database from the user folder to rebuild the project, but this didn't solve the issue.  Does anyone have any ideas. I have had this before and vaguely remember changing the default location of each sheet in the project to change the locatrion of the terminal rail, but its only a guess.
