TEXTVALUE FOR TABLE VALUE?

I am currently using the TEXTVALUE to preload all of the mutliple catlog information into the schematic symbol.  However, I have noticed that AutoCAD doesn't know where to look for theses components (in the TABLE field) and will always try to find them in the MISC table.  Is there a way to preload this value also?

I have tried TAB01 and TBL01 but still no luck.

Thanks!

I was hoping to get an answer by the end of the day, otherwise I am just going to have to shove any preloaded CAT, MFG into the MISC table.

in other words, its going to get ugly

Add attributes to the symbol block named MFG01, CAT01, WDBLKNAM01, MFG01, CAT02, WDBLKNAM02, etc. Preload the attribute values with manufacturer name, catalog name , and the name of the table to open and retrieve BOM data.

Hey Doug,

Do you know of any way to kill a microsoft access lock on the datbase?  I have to make everyone restart in the morning because somebody is locking the database file which prevents me from opening it up in access (exponentially faster to work in).

just wondering.

Thanks!
