That information matches the technique outlined in the FAQ. We will probably use .NET to do the look-ups. I don't know if we will ever try to make it bi-directional. It's easy to pull data out, but you have to know what you are doing to correctly add data to someone else's database, and it's easy enough to pop over to the database application itself to enter a new part. That is one of the things that ACE currently does well: entering a new part into the native database. (Unless you want it to go to a table that doesn't exist yet.)
