Swap block - to "wire number changes across terminal"

I am an AE newbie, familiar with RSWire.

After doing a Promis-E conversion of a project, all my terminal in AE are now "wire number same across terminal" rather than the previous "wire number changes across terminal".

This has messed up all the wire numbering as well as leaving all the terminals of the wrong type.

Attempting a Swap block for terminals, and making the new block a "wire number changes across terminal" type, does not in fact change the terminal to the correct type. The resulting block is HT1002 rather than the VT1002 that I picked.

How can I overcome this problem? Alternatively which attribute sets the wire number change (or not ) and can I do a project-wide attribute change?

Hi Martin,

Probably the quickest way to flip these terminals is just to rename the
block. You can use the regular AutoCAD "Rename" > "Block" command. Change
all HT0002 blocks to HT1002 and all VT0002 to VT1002. The key is the 3rd
char of the block name. If it is a "0" then AcadE will run the wire number
straight through the symbol. If you flip it to "1", then it will force a
wire number change through it.

An AcadE terminal symbol that changes the wire number through it is exactly
the same as the terminal the maintains a wire number through it except for
the block name's 3rd char.

Nate.

Seems I am having the opposite problem. I have checked and rechecked my block and it is infact HT0002. If i insert this block it still changes my wire numbers.
