Spreadsheet i/o error

The spreadsheet to plc i/o system has suddenly quit working. All goes well until asked to pick insertion point of first ladder. Then I get an error in the command line "Command:
Specify point for upper left corner of 1st ladder:; error: no function
definition: wd_mdb_GetHandle".
My system has been upgraded to Windows XP Pro x64 Edition. I am aware that Autodesk does not support this as yet but I'm hoping this is not the problem.
Any help appreciated.

After further use, it appears that the x64 Edition is the problem. The wd_mdb.arx application will not load. So far this has been the only issue with x64 other than the network licence manager.
Any timeline from Autodesk on a fix or compatability upgrade?
