Sort Wire Table wire type list / Wire Grid controls?

Hello,

I am missing something with Wire/Wire types.  I have created a basic list in my drawing for wire type, size and color.  As I work through a schematic I need to add more wires with the wire information.  My wire list is so long I would like to be able to sort them.  The intent is that I have a group of white wire size 8AWG- 14AWG on wire table reference 1, 2, 3, 4.  The next available wire table entry is wire table reference 200.  Can I insert a blank row at table reference 5 to add a white 16AWG or can I add the wire at 200 and then sort the table to force the 16AWG info up to line reference 5?  The Help file Create/edit wire Type tells me “Use the grid control to sort and select wire types to modify”.  I don’t see the tool to use for a sort function.

Thank you

It is a bit counter-intuitive.  With most grid controls a single click on a header does the sort.  With that grid, you have to double click it.

See if that helps.

And I learned something today.  Must be time to go home.  Smiley Very Happy

Actually I just stumbled across that.  Boo to Autodesk for using a non-standard grid control.
