Snap behavior system variable in 2012 service pack 1

AutoCAD Electrical has released Service Pack 1 for 2012. Here is one item from the readme file for this service pack.

Snaps

  • With Snap enabled, the cursor does not move to snap intervals.
  • Turning SNAPGRIDLEGACY ON will restore the old Snap behavior of the cursor when no command is active.
  • Restores legacy SNAP behavior during certain LISP-based selection commands.

So using the new system variable, SNAPGRIDLEGACY=1 you can get the 2011 Snap behavior.

The service pack can be downloaded from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=17800098&linkID=9240738
