The recent versions of AcadE all use the table object when reports are
placed on drawings. The Table object has some built in restrictions for the
row/line spacing. It will not allow a row height smaller than (text height +
vertical cell margin + vertical cell margin + 1/3 text height). Defining the
vertical cell margin on the Standard table style on your drawing template is
a good idea so that this is correct when the AcadE table styles are created.
If you are using AcadE 2007 where support was added for the vertical text
justification on the report tables, you could try setting your vertical cell
margin to be very small and the text to be Middle justified and see if this
is closer to what you want.

Is there a way to run reports the way they were in 2004, without the table
feature. We are having problems controlling the line spacing.
Thanks
