RELAY & CONTACTOR COILS

I was asked why when inserting a coil block at an intersection on a ladder, does i revert to vertical insert.

It should default always to horizontal unless the vertical check box is checked. or you are only on a vertical wire.

Any ideas?

My guess would be because you are trying to insert the coil on an intersection. I would think that the coil would always be inserted on a wire by itself. Since the only continuous wire available at the intersection is the vertical ladder, I guess it is trying to insert it there.
