Plotting colors in Black monochrome.stb

I'm having difficulty with plotting color to my B&W HP LJ5100.
I've tried monochrome.stb and monochrome.ctb with the colors set to black and the dither and grayscale = off. My yellow comes out too light to read. Even tried mapping pens to 7 even though the lazerjet doesnt have pens. Any suggestions?

Well I found my answer. I went to the Layers Property Manager and changed all the Plot Styles from Normal to Style 1. Earlier I opened the Plot Style Manager and set Style 1 monochrome.stb to print black with dither = off and Grayscale = off.
