Modify Submenu number

Good morning,

The company i look for is interested in rearanging how the schematic con menu looks. As a result many things have been shifted around from their default submenu folders. When i try to add a circuit to the icon menu it gives me an error saying " Error Cannot display submenu M!9. The subemnu numbder is not defiend...". I opened the icon menu wizard and the user circuit is under submenu 159. How do i redirect autoCAD to that new submenu.

We are using 2014

Thanks

Jared

Hi Jared,

You could try editing the .DAT file directly and change the user circuit section to read " **M19 " it should redirect to the right location (even though your menu number changed.). In Truth I would have left the defaults alone and created your own menu. Then you could create a menu switching command.

The .Dat files are loacted in:

C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical 20XX\RXX.X\enu\Support (Generic Support path)

*C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical 2015\R20.0\enu\Support* (2015 support path)

MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOU MENU FILE FIRST!!!!!!

Then you can start editing it.

I hope this Helps,

James
