Missing Signal Names

We have recently upgraded to AE 2012 while all seems ok so far I have one issue with regards to signal references.

Adding for example a destination element, and selecting project to list all (source, destination, used and unused) references I am presented with an empty list clicking freshen does nothing ( just returns to the initial window).

Have rebuilt the project database, even deleted and forced a re-create, nothing seems to bring enable me to list any of the references, they previously appeared in this project.

I have the same issue in projects created under 2011 being used in 2012 and new projects created in 2012.

Has anybody seen this before, can offer advice on a fix, I am at a loss as to what is going wrong, and so dont know where to go to fix it.

Thanks for any guidance...

The drawing you are working on is part of the active project?

Can you post a drawing or send it to me at pat.murnen@autodesk.com? That might help me see what is happening.

Can you post a screen capture of the dialog?
