Manual or ICON insert on PANEL

When I insert a symbol on the "Panel" from the "Panel" Tab. the items show up just fine. When i run the BOM report it doesn't show up at all.

I need this more importantly when inserting a base, and cpu for a PLC. As I understant it, this is the only way to have those items show up on the panel layout and BOM.

What could I be doing wrong? cant seem to find and details regarding this.

I found it!. I was using the "Reports tab - Schematic" I should have been using the "Reports Tab - Panel"
