LISP For AutoCAD Electrical

Hello World!

I was introduced to LISP routines a while back and it got my mind wandering...

I was thinking about wrinting a LISP routine that will insert ladders for schematics, and the only thing the user has to worry about is typing the starting reference number.

My question is this...

In LISP routines, you can start AutoCAD Electrical commands such as the ladder insert command (AELADDER) but when you do this, it will bring up the "Insert Ladder" dialouge box.

Is there any way you can skip opening this dialouge box, fill the values with predetermined values, except the starting reference number, and go straight to the "choose insert point for the ladder"?

Or am I in way over my head?

Any advice is appreciated.
