Inter Discipline Peer to Peer "bubbles"

Hello,
I would like to cross reference between our
electrical schematic and a pneumatic dwg.
Where is the "instrument bubble" refered to
in the manual, and must I edit the existing
electrical components to include the WDTAGALT
attribute?
Thanks
Lynne

The current shipping version of AutoCAD Electrical does not include a set of
ISA instrument symbols. The example shown in the on-line documentation under
"Chapter 18 - Frequently Asked Questions > Inter-Discipline Peer-to-Peer
Setup" illustrates what attributes you would need to add to a non-electrical
"peer" symbol to allow for inter-discipline cross-ref. So, if you are dealing
with related instrument drawings and have instrument bubble symbols, add in the
normal AutoCAD Electrical attributes TAG1 (or TAG1_PART1 / TAG1_PART2 for a
"split" tag), WDTAGALT, and WDTYPE.

Attached is a file with a couple bubbles set up with these attributes.

With this in place, the instrument bubble can carry the schematic equivalent
symbol's tag-ID and the schematic symbol can carry the intrument's assigned
tag-ID as illustrated in the on-line help.
