Incorrect Panel Library setting

I upgraded from ACE 2005 to ACE 2006 some time ago.

When I "Insert Footprint for Schematic List" my panel block is not found after searching through all the paths. I noticed from the "Cannot file file: dialog box" that the path to the old ACE 2005 ACE is listed "\\autodesk\acade 2005\libs\panel"

I've looked in the Tools>Options "Support File Search Path" and Working Support File Search Path" and did not find any paths to "acade 2005". I also did a hard-drive search for wd.env file and found 4 of them. I searched for "2005" in each file and no hits were found.

Where is the "2005" path coming from? How do I reset it?

Thanks,
Daryl

Hi Daryl,

Please check the project symbol library setting. Highlight the active
project, right click and from the pop up menu go for the "Symbol library"
and check on the "Panel" toggle. The library here could be pointing to 2005.

Hope this helps.

Daryl,
Giri is exactly right. The paths for schematic and for panel libraries are
stored in each of your project ".wdp" files. So, when you updated from 2005
to 2006, your legacy project wdp files pointed at the old path. Just flip to
the new path as Giri described and you should be fine.
