Can you supply some more information about what is happening -
What version of AcadE?
Does the export work without any issues?
Are you making edits in the spreadsheet before you import? If so, what type of edits?
Does it work on some drawings and not others?
If you are editing the spreadsheet it may be something with the type of edits you are making. Some things should not be changed such as the object's handle. Maybe if you can upload the spreadsheet that is exported before you make any changes and then a copy of it after your changes that cause the import to fail I can see what the issue is.
I´am using ACE 2013
Export works fine (Exporting Drawing settings)
I´am changing setting (sheet number, description text section and subsetion)
when I import the spreadsheet agin all the drawings in the project file are dumpt from the projet.
I´am not changing the drawing location (the last colum in the spreadsheet)
I wasn't able to reproduce this at my end. It might be something specific in the spreadsheet. Can you upload the edited spreadsheet so I can take a look at it? Also, can you make a copy of the project's .wdp file right before you run the export and then a copy of the .wdp file right after the import and upload those?
It also would help to diagnose if you could turn on the command trace and upload the log file from that.
Follow these steps (where upper case are commands to type at the command line)-
1. LOGFILEON
2. AEONLISPDEBUG
3. Run the export, edit file in Excel, run import.
4. AEOFFLISPDEBUG
5. LOGFILENAME (Make note of name and folder)
6. LOGFILEOFF
Post the file from step #5.
Looks like something went wrong in the upload. Can you send me the .log file and the edited spreadsheet directly at pat.murnen@autodesk.com ?

Pat
