IEC footprints

Would there be a source for more IEC footprints other then those that come with AutoCAD? Thank you, Mick

For footprints, the best bet is to look to the manufacturer of the component.

A lot of the companies that do larger/more complex compnents like protection relays have a web facility to provide dwgs for their products.

If you can't find a footprint for the product you are looking for, try emailing the manufacturer to see if they are available.

If you succeed in obtaining a footprint, you will need to add the proper attributes to make it an ACADE footprint block.

If you fail to get the dwg you need from the manufacturer or other sources, you may have to draw it yourself.
