I started playing with the pneumatic and hydraulic schematics--the pneumatic components have tables in the database--I have edited these in Access, but there are no hydraulic tables. I know I can create tables on the fly as I insert components, but is there a list of tables (or populated tables that I can import) for hydraulic components?
One way that works for me is to add a new hydraulic component first (valve,pump,filter.....).
When you are in the edit dialog box, click on the Catalog data Lookup button.
It will triggers a message box to inform you that no such family table currently exist.
Then accept the default family name.
For hydraulic components, I think they are classified as component specific table under the family name of HY.
So when you go to the mdb file, its table structure should appear.
Thanks.
that's what I have been doing---it's OK since we only use a few standard components.
I was just trying to be lazy and get all of the tables at once.
Thanks
