How do I change the shield drain wire connection?

I am hoping for an easy way to flip the shield drain-wire connection orientation. Is there a way to do this during the insertion of the symbol or a way to flip the drain wire connection orientation on the shield symbol after inserting the shield onto a group of wires? It seems no matter what I try whether I mirror, rotate insert in reverse (right to left rather than left to right) the dog leg out for the drain wire is always to the right. The only way I have found around this is to connect a drain wire to the symbol first and then rotate (or mirror) the symbol with the drain wire connected to it to get the orientation to stick. I'm hoping there is a command that I am missing that would allow for the selection of the orientation of the drain connection as I am inserting the symbol.

Can you post an example of what you desire and specify the exact shield symbol you are trying to use? I can't find a problem with the shield symbols.

It seems that no matter how I insert the shield, the part that has the extra wire connection point for the drain wire is always to the right. The problem also is that if I try any method to flip the shield over so that the drain wire connection can be connected on the left, the wire still wants to approach from the right. Only after inserting the shield, connecting the drain, then flipping it all together, will the orientation produce the desired results. I would like to have the option to flip that drain connection as I am inserting the shield.

Check the name of the section where you wish the drain wire to go and then
open that as a separate dwg. Add the appropriate wire connection save and
close that dwg.
Then all you need to do is update your existing blocks. The new wire
connection should then be available for you to use.
